It's starting to be #iris season too. Not sure what these little ones are, Siberian iris maybe. The #dianthus is "meh" this year. Centered is a marshmallow shasta #daisy that got bugs; the blooms _really_ didn't care for malathion, so they got snipped.

Wait a minute — who's hiding back there‽

A patch of garden outside a house in Memphis, Tennessee. Some small iris are against the brick, a few are blooming a lovely purple. A pair of "cheddar pink" dianthus are filling in, and between them is a "marshmallow" shasta daisy with no blooms. A few coneflowers are starting to come up around the edges of the plot.

A feral brown tabby cat is curled up, chillin' in the iris. She had flattened herself quite a little circle in the foliage. Naughty! 😻
