Also collected some native violets, geraniums, columbine, and stonecrops to pot up for the scout's <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/garden" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>garden</span></a> project. Still need to build bed for ground nuts, but they arrived today too. 🥰<br> Bonus? Richard Rollinson<p>Finally! Things have come together well enough for me to begin moving some of the hardier seedlings in to the greenhouse. It took a while to clean up the space to make room for things, because the greenhouse ends up being catch-all storage all winter. We have beets, cabbage, parsley, lettuce, viola Cleome and Verbena moved so far. I'll watch the weather and move more when I can. A Buddhist buddy gave us a Berkeley tie-dye tomato plant this morning. It looks like we’re growing this spring.
Spring is slowly but surely asserting itself.
The plants outside are starting to need extra water. I gave them some yesterday and they're all looking far more perky, it feels like the apple tree grew a week's worth in a day, suddenly having leaves rather than just buds, and the pear trees up front opened their blossom and many insects from all around have gathered to make use of it
