They had a fairy festival at the Ithaca Commons which I would have seen more if I'd gone further in past the protestors I photographed last week; I got one shot of a group with a lady wearing a "Gothic Lolita" outfit

Painting by Alix Aymé (1894-1989), a French born artist who lived in China and French Indochine (Vietnam and Laos). Her In Laos, she became acquainted with the household of King Sisavang Vong, and her large frescos were displayed in the Royal Palace, Luang Prabang.

Ik ben Marcel Lambrechts uit Nederland en ik maak realistische en gedetailleerde tekeningen. Het liefst werk ik met grafiet en/of houtskool, soms met kleurpotlood.
Ik teken veel portretten, maar meestal niet de standaard rechttoe rechtaan, een portret moet me "pakken", een bepaald gevoel geven.
Mijn eerste portret laat zien wat ik bedoel..
Selfie, 2005 06 12, Toronto. A friend had just given me Umberto Eco's _History of Beauty_ and I remember being enraptured by it at the time. Can't remember much about it now.
