Started reading a new #BL #webcomic last night, "dark heaven." it's got a lot of racism, homophobia and bullying in it, but it's all directed AT the couple, not BY one of them towards their partner, so at least it's not like THOSE kinds of toxic BL comics that used to be so commonplace. It also jumps between modern day when they're broken up for unknown reasons, young adult when they were in a band and in a relationship together, and when they first became friends as kids. It's definitely not "fluffy" and I'm worried the big R is going to be used as a plot point (as it so often is in dark romances 😰) but other than that it's pretty good so far. I got spoiled by webcomics in full color so it's a bit jarring to read one that's monochrome, but it reminds me of my days devouring practically a new BL series every evening in mangafox 😅
