So how am I supposed to reduce power consumption when not using our #LibreELEC setup on #RPi? 
I do have Shelly Plug S available but I guess that I'd need a remote shutdown command before turning off power. Furthermore: how do I enable auto-boot when power resumes?
Any ideas?

I wish I could sync settings but mostly that is just the initial setup
Control it with any random bt remote or web or the Kore app.
Wir schreiben das Jahr 2025 und #Libreelec fragt inzwischen zwar nach, ob ich das System auf Deutsch nutzen möchte, belässt aber das Keyboard-Layout auf US-Englisch, was ich natürlich erst merke, sobald ich ein Passwort eingeben möchte...! 
With Apollo (https://github.com/ClassicOldSong/Apollo) I finally I found a way to stream games from my PC in my office to any device in our house with a minimal amount of issues.
Any Moonlight client works, which are available for iOS, Android, Linux, Mac, … and even for my #LibreElec installation on a #RaspberryPi connected to our TV.
This way the client device is quiet and cold. PC screen turns off automatically. Wake-On-Lan works from my phone. Resolution adjustment, HDR all works.
Früher war www.prad.de gut für solche Guides. Wenn Du Zeit und Muße hast, kannst Du einen #RaspberryPi nehmen und einsetzten. #libreelec bietet sich dann an.

Wollte die SSH-Authentifizierung mit Keys statt Passwörtern vereinheitlichen. Auf beiden "normalen" Raspis funktionierts mit Keys.
In beiden LibreELEC-Raspis hab ich Keys erstellt und sie dann via cat id_libreelec.pub | ssh name@IP "cat >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys" gespeichert (ssh-copy-id ist nicht vorhanden).
#LibreELEC will immer noch ein Passwort bzw. wenn ich das Passwort deaktiviere, gibts folgende Fehlermeldung...
Woran liegt das?

Der Prozess war doch sehr unspektakulär daher zeige ich euch lediglich das Ergebnis auf.
Hier ist die #Kodi / #LibreElec Installation im Wäschezimmer für meine Angebetete.
PC:
* Intel E7300 Core2Duo
* 4Gb RAM (DDR2 schätze ich)
* 230Gb HDD (jepp, mechanisch)
* GPU ist irgendwas von AMD 
Display:
* Ein ehemals sehr teurer 'Flach'bild-TV von Philipps mit Doppel-HDMI Eingang und nativer Auflösung von 1280x768
Jetzt schiebe ich da noch ein Backup vom anderen Kodi drauf & dann ist fertig.
Auch uralte Hardware kann als Host für #libreElec agieren.
Allerdings bedarf es dann etwas mehr Geduld beim Installationsprozess.
ich habe hier einen Fall, ein Core2Duo von vor 1000 Jahren, im Live-Modus bringt der alles mit was es benötigt um besagtes System, sprich #kodi, laufen zu lassen.
... aber bis der endlich mal hochgeschossen kam über USB-Stick für Live-Test und Installation... Minuten!
Glaube die USB-Ports liefern weniger als USB2 Standard

#hilfe, ich verwende seit Jahren einen Raspberry Pi mit #KODI (#libreELEC) an meinem Fernseher. Aber wenn ich meine Filme in 1080p auf Platte sicher, dann stößt der der Pi bei der Wiedergabe an seine Grenzen und ruckelt ohne Ende.
Daher meine #Frage: welche Hardware bis 100 Euro sollte ich als Pi-Ersatz am Fernseher verwenden? Was würdet ihr empfehlen?

Hi! I was in the same situation. And my actual configuration is RPi4 with LibreELEC 12.0.1 & KODI 21.1 and it works flawlessly.
Our #RaspberryPi 3B running #LibreELEC with #KODI has more and more issues with some video files (doesn't work, dropouts or occasional dropouts).
Any idea what I should use to replace? Preferably cheap and maybe used?
Requirements: video and audio playback from local (NFS) share from a Linux server. KODI a plus.
Used Fujitsu Futro, Dell Wyse, HP t-series: just DisplayPort and I'm not sure if they connect smoothly to our HDMI receiver via active or passive adapters.
New RPi5 for 90€ sounds pricey for that performance class. RPi5 starter pack for 145€ is the lazy solution to me: fixes issue without changing my concept/workflows too much.
Used Nvidia Shield TV start at 130€ which sounds expensive for an older Android device like that.
I am doing well with #libreelec / #kodi and the #android #kore app and a dumb TV.
I am doing this with an older #raspberrypi ( not sure about Version, but it is old), however I recommend checking if the #raspberry is powerful enough to decode what you like, e.g. h265
Heute war mein Spendentag an #foss Software, die ich regelmäßig nutze. Ich bevorzuge zwei mal im Jahr einen festen Betrag zu spenden.
#homeassistant werde ich wohl durch Kauf ihrer Hardware unterstützen.
Dabei waren auch zwei Homeassistent-Addons vertreten.
Am nächsten Termin versuche ich dann auch andere Projekte zu unterstützen.
just discovered the rpi-imager which is a software that lets you pick a raspberry pi model, the OS you want to install (for example #libreElec or headless raspberry pi OS, etc. etc. pretty much anything that is available), select the location and then it would do the install process.
Haven't tried it yet but I'll definitely try it next time. It sounds SO good and easy
