The “AI” con is directly based on Stephen Colbert’s #truthiness. LLMs' output is #truthy because companies stole and modeled enough text for them to #bullshit at great length, but not in fact true, because they don't learn or reason. Calling one an “AI” is a ruse to convince you against the facts that the #model is #intelligent. It is not. You are intelligent.
