#CS3Count #Embankment 7,245 cycle journeys so far today, 1,398,242 this year;
#CS6Count #Blackfriars Road 3,712 today, 846,178 this year."

#CityOfLondon's Transport Ctte 18 July'23 has a transport strategy annual report and updated 5 yr plan - see item 20 with big pdfs democracy.cityoflondon.gov.uk/

Cycle traffic is the only transport mode *higher* than pre-pandemic volumes, and outnumber cars & PHVs.

While cycling numbers in the #CityOfLondon were growing in the early 20-teens, the volumes accelerated with the #CS3 and #CS6 cycle superhighways

People walking & cycling make up 2/3rds of transport activity in the City.

📢 #CS6Count is back in action 📢
I'd seen reports that the #CS6 #C6 cycle journey counter on Blackfriars Road was rebooted earlier this month ... and it has counted 40,000 journeys in the last 8 days!

28/04/23 : 2230 journeys by this afternoon / 62,610 since April'23 reboot.

Over on Victoria #Embankment, the #CS3 counter clocked 3801 journeys by this afternoon, with 793,773 YTD (with reports of missing days) #CS3Count
