Most of this applies to machine translation, too, because in fact, #1nt #ai is a speech-to-text -> #mt #xl8 -> text-to-speech toolchain.
They are tools, good for some use cases, bad for others.
For a review, I am trying to work out whether the "translations" in the Europarl Corpus are a) translations of the transcripts of the proceedings or b) transcripts of the simultaneous interpretation of the speeches. Can anyone here enlighten me, please? #1nt #translation #CorpusLinguistics
