Sometimes it feels like Ansible is a lot more friendly with home lab and self hosting than Terraform. A lot of things I want to do with Terraform do not have official providers, while Ansible does have a lot of official modules.
I'm not looking for a solution, just making an observation.

Day 434. Recently our #Terraform deployment pipeline went completely to shit with state refreshes of random #Azure resources failing. After spending some time investigating why the Service Principal allegedly was missing permission on some resources, it magically worked again on the next try without us changing anything. Azure RBAC has to be one of the most unreliable services they offer.

@arichtman *cluster api instead of #terraform and #terragrunt - tg makes it a lot nicer to work with tf, we still have to make use of the tf helm provider for a handful of things like #karpenter but outside of that the TF has been painless after the initial dev on all the modules.
