Jetzt ist es auch mir das erste Mal passiert, dass ich Probleme mit meiner proton.me Email-Adresse hatte. Die Registrierung auf einer Seite wollte partout nicht gelingen. Hab es zwei mal probiert und mehrere Stunden dazwischen gewartet, aber keine Bestätigungsmail bekommen. Hab dann die alte gmx Adresse genommen und die Registrierung hat sofort funktioniert.
Du überlegst #ProtonMail oder anderen Dienste wie #ProtonDrive zu nutzen um den #US Diensten zu entfliehen? Gute Idee! 
Aber ggf. ist Proton nicht ganz das richtige...
PS: Parallel arbeitet die Regierung in der Schweiz leider auch an der Planung zur Abschaffung ihres (noch) guten Datenschutz Niveau. 
Also dass ich mich für #protonmail auf meinem #unplugtrump entschieden habe, war für mich persönlich jetzt eine sehr gute Wahl. Import von 20k emails inkl. eigener Domain hat perfekt geklappt, läuft zuverlässig und schnell, die Apps auf iOS/Desktop klappen auch gut, VPN läuft auch anstandslos, ebenso der Passwortmanager. Non, #Google ne proposera pas un vrai #chiffrement de bout en bout sur #Gmail. Le mécanisme proposé n'est pas considéré comme un véritable chiffrement "E2EE" par certains experts. En effet, il implique un serveur de gestion de clés interne à l'entreprise.
