PF2E CLASS SELECTION - It's actually quite simple - RPGBOT.Podcast S5E49
The RPGBOT.podcast team takes a look at the classes in Pathfinder 2e's Player Core 1 and discusses which classes are and aren't good choices for new players. Will Fighter fit? Cleric is certainly correct. But is Bard better? Can we come up with other alliteration for the classes? Apparently not!

Lashunta Inspirational Pic of the Week
John Bolton
This pic's selection began as a trial to find an representative pic for a Korasha. It sorta succeeded. It became an exercise reflecting on the many stereotypes in Sword & Sorcery fantasy art in how females are portrayed.
Since the Lashunta are ruled by a Damaya Matriarchy, I've set myself a goal to avoid depictions of submissive females. The Evil Sorceress (exemplified here) is one of the few tropes where the female is not submissive.
To interpret in a Lashunta context, this would likely be a scene in which contemporary artists show a tale from the Age of the Thief-Queen, who were infamous as skull-collectors. She has summoned something (her Korasha warrior-harem? something more eldritch?) to deal with the hero. Interestingly, Korasha heroes resisting the Thief-Queens' oppression is a common theme in Lashunta historical fiction.

Here is something that lurks within the depth of Father-Yaro, maybe a salamander from the river's bottom? If these were Lashunta (just add antennae), did they just get a lucky break? Better it than them!

As a teaser for this Saturday, here's a snippet from Chapter 61, in which Lady Vaeol's friend Riardon, who is not only a male Damaya but even more fabulously a Damaya-Elf, reaches the climax of his bid to run for Qabarat's Matronhood...
