I do believe in a relatively slowly [ and in a Collingwood style ] transforming philosophia perennis.
My papers center around the tradeoff of knowledge and reality, most important in this respect - in my own opinion - is my paper on a formal analogy (in basic #modeltheory) to elements of #Spinoza’s #metaphysics in #DeDeo (#Ethics, part I).
I do share my #philosophical #views broadly construed as a public respondent of the philsurvey_2020,

I am a professor of #mathematics at the University of California Los Angeles, and the director of the #UCLA Logic Center.
My main research interest is a branch of mathematical logic called #ModelTheory and its applications to #algebra, #geometry, #combinatorics and #ComputerScience.
