So we've just had mailshots about registering for postal voting in Deakin Electorate. (E Melbourne suburbs)
Libs won by 0.02% after 3 recounts.
The mailshot is NOT from AEC.
They've come from Michael Sukkar's office again, as in 2022, with full colour leaflets promoting him and his fugly mugshot.
This pissed me off 3 yrs ago and my understanding it wasn't to happen again.
So why is it ?
Always cracks me up come election time the classic photo-ops start circulating of 'Politician holding a Beer' and 'Politician holding a Football'... Like we're all just supposed to say "Yup, they're definitely one of us, definitely voting for them now" 
(incidentally there's a very amusing photo of Dutton holding a beer in front of him like he doesn't know what to do with it over on the Guardian website currently)
