🇫🇷 Grandir au bord de la Loire laisse des traces... celles d'ambiances, de vents, de paysages, d'eaux tourmentées ou étales, de bancs de sable si caractéristiques, d'oiseaux joueurs comme les sternes ou patients et immobiles comme les hérons guettant leurs proies... Lorsque je retourne en Touraine, repérer les silhouettes d'embarcations à fond plat - gabares, chalands, fûtreaux, toues... - confirme alors que ça y est, j'y suis bien, sur ces rives ligériennes !

🇬🇧 Growing up on the banks of the Loire leaves its mark... on the atmosphere, the winds, the landscapes, the tormented or flat waters, the characteristic sandbanks, the playful birds like the terns or the patient, motionless herons stalking their prey... When I return to Touraine, spotting the silhouettes of flat-bottomed boats - "gabares", "chalands", "fûtreaux", "toues"... - confirms that this is it, I'm there, on the banks of the Loire!

(English follows) Photographie noir et blanc, format portrait, ratio 2x3. En contrebas d'une levée herbeuse positionnée sur le coin droit de l'image, la Loire occupe la moitié de l'image. L'horizon marque la séparation entre le fleuve et le ciel d'été (cumulus de chaleurs), autour de petites forêts situées sur l'autre rive. Un banc de sable se découpe sur l'eau. Au premier plan, au bas d'un petit escalier de terre et bois que l'on devine, deux embarcations typiques de la navigation sur la Loire sont amarrées. Toutes deux en bois, avec un mât au bout duquel flottent des fanions, l'une d'entre elles a une petite cabane. Un peu plus loin au pied de la levée, une barque à fond plat (une "plate") est également amarrée. Black and white photograph, portrait format, 2x3 ratio. Ihre Ansicht von der Welt unterschied sich von seiner und von denen der anderen, was sie zu der Frage veranlasste, ob eine Welt , in der alle die gleiche Anschauung haben, besser wäre, als eine Welt, in der alle eine andere Denkweise in sich tragen. Letztendlich empfand sie das Chaos von verschiedenen Einstellungen am angenehmsten.
