Belated #3GoodThings, after skipping some days due to workload, exhaustion and #April2025ConnectAThon:
- beak cutting at the vet for #Gelbi went well, except being told that he's on the border of being too fat
- managed to create #WikiTree profiles for at least 2 direct ancestors during #ConnectAThon wikitree.com/wiki/Pfefferle-54
- 30 min after Thon, in which I showered, we approved the release at work, so it might get a little less hectic for the next few months until the next one

Three good things:
-> I am an unapologetic suburbanite at heart, and I am queer. I am so lucky that my new home is going to allow both to exist in the same place!
-> Had an amazing second PT visit today. Dr Ginevra was right; myofascial release can make a huge difference...in the right hands!
-> So grateful for chatting with wonderful folks throughout last night here on so many disparate topics.

Good night! #3GoodThings
1. My fitness rings for the day are closed with flying colors! Move (calorie burn) 493%, Exercise: 450%, Stand: 125%. I managed a step count of 15,152! I’m quite pleased.
2. It was a gorgeous day and the windows were open all day long. Most are closed and we will close the last ones and turn the heat on before going to bed. It’ll only be in the 40s in the morning. Brrrr.
3. Read a little Braille today and worked on my loom knit hand towel while listening to a book.
Sleep well and may your dreams be out of this world. 🤗🫶❤️🫂 #GoodNight #Braille #Fitness #LoomKnitting

1. I finally figured out how to combine my 2 mastodon accounts. It wasn't that hard and I can't believe it took me so long to do it! Forgive me for the double posts and thank you for putting up with them.

2. I wrote 2 pages of a #Poe essay that's due in a few months. If you haven't read Angela Carter's essay, "The Cabinet of Edgar Allan Poe," I highly recommend it.

3. I have a new #website that is just beautiful. professorcindy.com/

Hello there...every day that I use Mastodon, I like to list three things that I like as a contribution towards a positive online space, as well as my own headspace. If you did this today, what would feature on your list?

01. felt sick today but managed a full day's work
02. got a load of fresh new music onto my mp3 player
03. have a lie in tomorrow

Hope whoever reads this can have a nice day.

1. We have, hopefully, bought the last of the paint needed for the outbuildings. First coat is finished. Husband and his friend have done a good job.
2. I've started planting the vegetable seeds in pots for planting out when there is no chance of frost. This is always a satisfying task.
3. The bluebells are beautiful this year creating carpets of that gorgeous blue in the woods.

- I've registered for my next Open University module starting in October and today I said the words, "I'm really excited for the exam."

- The vet gave Jenkins a clean bill of health. He's just about started talking to me again.

- I'm enjoying my book. (Wool by Hugh Howey)

I have not had a good day. Everything has been a struggle. So it’s more important than ever to look for #3GoodThings

1) I actually ate more than my 5 a day fruit and veg. I am making a conscious effort
2) I got my power walk done before the rain started
3) I’m enjoying A Man on the Inside. God, those old people can drink

1. Hubs is back home, The Watch had a great concert he went to in Oslo.
2. Broad beans and sweet pea mix sown. The latter is indoors for a few more weeks, before it will move to my mother's place. It was an ordinary mix pack, she just loves the scent.
3. My cauliflower soup was not so bad, considered no milk and a first test of "green mix" broth.
I think I need a few varieties of green mixes, it is not "one mix fits all".
