A second step, raised on pylons, to which it is held by nuts on ½-inch threaded stainless steel rods. The joint is not quite flat, so hopefully the step is stiff enough not to bend under the tension of the steel rods. Otherwise I will have to start over!

There are six black ash hardwood joists, though they are thin. However, though epoxy is easily bent over time, much of the epoxy here has been stiffened with chopped fiberglass. So there is hope.

The original step now needs to be raised a little. It sits only on the outermost joists. I am considering using wooden boots on those joists.

First try at DIY-needle minder out of UV Epoxy Resin, 2 magnets, some key charms and a little bit glitter.
It's lightweight enough to use it on embroidery or during the sewing of bigger EPP-projects. I really like it and will do some more in the future.

(I used a form for a pendant, need something without a hole for a string.. tried to close, but obviously failed)

My thanks goes to @ulktante@troet.cafe - hadn't she used a bought (and really beautiful!) needle minder during our online meeting of #VersponnenerSalon last month, I wouldn't have known that something so useful exists! 😅😘

Semi transparent oval needle Minder, sitting on a cloth, sewed together out of colourful hexagons. The needle minder has an oval shape and is made out of epoxid resin with 3 golden key charms and violett-blu glitter insinde. A needle with a thread attached lies on top.

So, da haben wir nun einmal ein fertiges 6er Set Perlen und die Perlen, die ich gestern angesetzt hab und heute rausholen konnte. Bin ziemlich zufrieden. Glaube, meiner Mama werden sie gefallen.

Sie sind gefüllt mit allerlei Glitzerkram und kleineren Perlen, die ich vom Basteln hier noch rumliegen hatte. In der Grünen ist sogar Moos.

6 große Perlen aus Epoxidharz mit Silber. Sie sind rot, schwarz, grau, pink und golden mit viel Glitzerkram, kleinen Perlen und Goldfolie gefüllt.
Nochmal 6 Perlen in Rohform. Sie sind rotgold, golden, rot, grün, eisblau und lilapink. Jeweils wieder mit kleinen Glitzersteinchen, Folie, Perlen und sogar Moos gefüllt.
