Forgot to mention earlier, my adopted city of #Norwich is twinned with #NoviSad in #Serbia…we celebrated 40 years of friendship this month. We have a bridge across the River Wensum called the Novi Sad Friendship bridge and have supported charities and institutions there, including a special needs school.

We need a pan-European democratic movement, something like:

with a democratic manifesto with principles:
- Transparency
- solidarity
- tolerance
- non-violence
This is exactly what the student cyclists from #Serbia embody. The photo shows the atmosphere at the reception in Stuttgart during the 16 minute's silence for the 16 victims of the collapsed railway station canopy in #NoviSad .
