got mixed feelings on trim sheet/hotspot texturing
(while not having personally tried it)

the results seem quite nice
workflow makes sense
significant and unpredictable waste of memory
non-rectangular models don't fit well
typically edges can only be convex
similarly sized faces could look repetitive

I wonder if it's possible to get something better

curious if anyone's compared trim sheets to edge decals and materials driven with curvature maps
