@blakespot I have a couple of those from back when they were current.
They were generally known for emulation, but they had great native software as well.
Sadly, it''s one of very few platforms that as far as I know, has never been emulated in software or
reproduced in FPGA.
Dug out the GP2X today.
I had some real fun with this ARM-based Linux-game console - wow - nearly 20 years ago! A little Montezuma's Revenge for the SMS shown running under emulation, here.
Such a fun device!
Slipheed (SegaCD version, emulated) running on a GamePark GP2X ARM-based handheld console.
#introduction
I've been a #pcgamer since the days of "640KB is enough for anyone." Prior to that I had used a #Dragon32 (Cuthbert for ever!)
TV based console-wise I've only had two - #Dreamcast and #Wii. Handhelds have hardly been more present, a #GP2X device - my first introduction to handheld emulation devices (I have almost all the commerical titles too), then a #PSP, and lastly a #SteamDeck which neatly coalesces all three groups of device (PC, Handheld and TV console.)
