Hello all! It's your friendly neighborhood mod Glitch and I need your help! :boostRequest:

If you want to help out a nonbinary neurodivergent trans person who is unable to work due to chronic illness (ME/CFS and degenerative disc disease in lower spine). It makes it very difficult for me to function daily without various things I need to help me maintain a decent quality of life.

Funds raised will be used to cover bills, purchase hygiene and personal care as well as household items, and buy cat food and cat litter.

I'm still working on disability and trying to get SSI, but because the US government is in such chaos, stuff's not happening as fast as I would like, so mutual aid is my lifeline till things start moving again. Help is greatly appreciated.

Very happy that #Lúthien doesn't seem to be in pain after her massive #surgery on tuesday, see this post (in #Dutch).

She's very unhappy if I put her into the cage, but I have to: if she exerts too much force on her hind leg, chances are the whole construction will break. That would mean the entire leg will have to be amputated.

So I let her out as much as I can. I abandoned the desktop PC I use for work, because that's on the second floor. I work on my laptop now, in the living room. She loves to be with me.

This is frustrating. I'm exploring options to #crowdfund for my feature film, but I live in the wrong continent. No platform accepts creators from Uganda/Africa, so I'm stuck with #patreon and ko-fi and the like. I guess my best option now is to create a page on my website and some kind of form to collect details of backers and a button for them to make a donation to the project. Not fun, since I don't have a huge following 😭

Gistermiddag heb ik #Lúthien opgehaald bij de #dierenarts en een eerste deel van de enorme rekening betaald.

Ze lijkt nauwelijks pijn te hebben, voelt zich weer helemaal thuis en is aanhankelijk en knuffelig als altijd. Ze vindt het wel vreselijk om vrijwel de hele dat opgesloten te zitten in de bench, maar dat is nodig om te voorkomen dat ze gaat rennen, springen, klimmen of andere inspanningen die de huidige, nog gammele, constructie kan breken. Dan zou haar hele achterpoot geamputeerd moeten worden, en daar wil ik niet aan denken...
