The sun is out. the air is cool and there's nowhere I'd rather be.

Got back on my old route and cruised. I went in with a lot of things on my mind and without thinking about them they were all gone by the end.

view from the top of Antoine Peak. we can see the path leading to the rocks that we usually get to before the picture, but I'm starting to really like this view. the path goes off straight with a zigzag motion and beyond it you can see the valley opening up below. the sky is pure clouds and the horizon shows the range that carries Mica Peak.

Got to checkout the trailhead on the south side of Antoine. It like the Canfield Gulch trail rises 200m EG. And it is 3 km which is right in the middle of the fire pond route that's 4km and the actual gulch trail which is 2km.

I even managed to get Momo on trail.

view from the rocks at the top of Antoine Peak. you can see my checking poles leaning against the rocks and Mike a peak on the right in the distance. there are ever green trees poking up obstructing The view. the sky is a milky white of thin clouds with the horizon a deep blue almost like it's radiating up.

do you have the trail at the head at the bottom of Canfield gulch. the sun is behind me and you can see my shadow stretched out. we have the sign to the trailhead on the left and the yield triangle on the right. the ground is lightly dusted with snow.

this is becoming our go-to shot and add Antoine. we just reached the Canfield gold's trail junction and the steak is stating the peak is 1.5 MI ahead. the trail goes off to the right and the left opens up to the valley today. the sky is clear. the valley looks a little hazy and the Sun is bright. The horizon has a glow to it and Mica Peak in the distance is radiant

I kind of like this route, straight to the top. The climb is around 10% on average and is similar to the 100k I have coming up.
