Trump’s leverage, the unnamed adviser told Rolling Stone, rests in his command of the armed forces: “Are they”—meaning federal judges—“going to come and arrest him?”

At a recent #HuntingtonBeach City Council meeting, longtime resident #ChrisKluwe delivered a powerful speech condemning the council’s decision to include a #MAGA acrostic on a library plaque. He highlighted the overwhelming community opposition and called out the movement’s ties to #censorship, #discrimination, and anti-democratic actions.

That's odd. Why would stockholders vote against their best interests? Well, it is to protect the companies from stockholders with both lots of money and a conscience*. Here is another one asking stockholders to vote against climate change policies and having an independent chair of the board. Sounds so Democratic, and it preserves the feels of the snowflakes who don't want to think about global warming.

*I realize that not a lot of folks with a conscience have lots of money, at least not on the scale of those driving our ecologic demise. The two are almost mutually exclusive. Almost.

Instead of people talking about Fani Willis and Nate Wade they should expend that time and energy discussing the dirty tricks that Mike Roman has been involved in over decades.

He got his political start running ballot security operations in Philadelphia for Republican Bruce Marks. Marks has made his legal career representing wealthy Russian clients btw for fuck's sake.

"He is one of a half-dozen unannounced hires the White House has made since President Trump took office. Roman, who led the Kochs’ surveillance and intelligence-gathering unit before it was disbanded in April 2016, is best known for promoting a video showing members of the New Black Panthers allegedly intimidating voters outside a Philadelphia polling place in 2008."

They use existing issues and history to paint an ALL - ALWAYS - NEVER narrative about women, our history, and our movements. They weaponize #compassion and desire for #justice, #equality, and #truth to silence legitimate objections to divisive and inaccurate characterizations. This is not new but it keeps happening on all platforms. Reject division / elevate solidarity.
