... an der Ostsee, mit ein paar mehr Wellen für den #wavywednesday

In der Mitte ragt eine Buhne geradezu in das vom Wind bewegte Meer. Am Strand, der den vorderen Teil des Bildes ausfüllt, stecken die runden Holzblöcke tief im Sand, davor drei angespülte Algen. Der mittlere Teil der Buhne ragt etwas weiter aus dem Sand bzw. Meer und wird von den auslaufenden Wellen umspült, die großen Wellen brechen am Holz. Der Himmel ist hellgrau bedeckt mit einzelnen weißen und grauen Wolken.

The surface of a pond is mostly gray and silver with reflected light, only slightly greenish. A coot is seen with its black feathers, dipping its whitish bill into the water.
It is in the center of many oval rings of ripples emanating out from itself, and the water beyond these ripples is also gently wavy, reflecting mottled apparent dark foliage.
Because of the reflections and the color of the coot it almost seems like a monochrome image.
