It's not how it's generally used, but In my head canon #eutopia is distinguished from a #utopia by the dynamic change. As a utopia is stagnant unchanging, perfect and final, the eutopia keeps changing. I'm calling #UsrulaLeGuin #dispossessed an eutopia because it was defined by the infinitely burning #revolution within a revolution.

An eutopia might be easier to write because it can have its own 'character arc'. I think this approach can unlock a lot of the #solarpunk creativity. Writing utopia is hard.

Sorry (not sorry) #AI haters but I’m 100% sold on #LLMs and AI in general. I was chatting AI #ethics and #philosophy with Deepseek, and we talked about an AI superintelligence secretly taking over the world, and it came up with a new word, “ambientopia”.

Unlike a #dystopia, or #utopia, it's a society where AI has slowly taken over everything, and is so omnipresent, no one notices it any more. It's not good or bad, it just is. Ambient.

That's astonishing to me it came up with the term ambientopia. And I'm pretty sure it's 100% the creation of the AI. I googled it and found nothing except an ambient album.

Anyway, I got a cool idea for sci-fi comic.

Finally, the English version of #Chaostopia2042 is in typesetting. I hope, I can upload tomorrow so the book will be out after the Easter holidays. =)

@iskedk One of this world's biggest problems is that I have seen this meme multiple times over the past few years, but not once have I seen the utopian equivalent created by someone who is actually widely-read enough in utopian and literature to do a good job of where we WANT to be instead.
