JupVor Buchmessen, Signierstunden und Lesungen habe ich immer ewig Zeit in Copyshops verbracht und meine Lesezeichen kopiert. Und mit einer Schneidemaschine zurechtgeschnitten. Lesezeichen sind die Visitenkarten der Autoren, praktisch, weil man für sie eine Verwendung hat. Eben als Lesezeichen in Büchern. Und sie so Immer wieder ins Auge fallen. Anders als Visitenkarten. Die stapeln sich im Portemonnaie, bis es zu dick wird. Dann landen sie auf dem Schreibtisch. Mit Glück an der Pinnwand, aber oft auch einfach im Altpapier. Das soll meinen Lesezeichen nicht so ergehen. Also gestalte ich sie hübsch und schneide fleißig. Bis ich auf die Idee gekommen bin, sie mir einfach fertig gedruckt und geschnitten ins Haus schicken zu lassen. Ich dachte immer, das ist mir zu teuer, aber in Wirklichkeit, ist es viel günstiger, kostet weniger Zeit und die Qualität ist viel besser als aus dem Copyshop an der Uni. 500 Stück habe ich drucken lassen. Auf der Vorderseite sind die beiden Katzenbüchern mit den Abenteuern von Lola und Konrad auf dem Segelboot abgedruckt, dazu ein Bild von unserem Segelboot, der Röde Orm.
