DO YOU LOVE HASHTAGS?

Well, do you?

One tip I suggest you use if you do is to put your hashtags at the end of your post, separated by one line from the rest of the content. That way, Mastodon clients can separate them and make your toot look nicer. Especially if you use *a lot* of hashtags for self-promotion. Like so:

Fun fact: If you're on a flight that uses Viasat for Wi-Fi connectivity and have T-Mobile you get free wifi in the US but even on international flights where they hide the T-Mobile deal you can still access the T-Mobile promotion page directly

You have to get your device ID token from the URL of any of their wifi-related links

Then paste it into this URL: directaccess.viasat.com/landin

Enjoy, T-Mobile flyers!

#ScruffyTheGeoWonderDog has some tips for for general workflow and productivity…and noted the use of new #WordsVerbed that were previously nouns…of course weaponizing them for maximum utility.

If you have templated the content you regularly use it can help increase productivity and efficiency…and alleviate any potential templadation.

Don’t get stuck con-templating when you can be pro-templating!

Heading to #ASHG23 or other meetings in the next few months? I have two unasked for #ProTips.

1) If it isn't cost prohibitive, consider a fabric poster. You then don't have to worry about a poster tube. I've had good luck with PosterSmith.

2) If you're flying and have a fabric poster, put it in your backpack or whatever personal carry-on (under the seat) bag you have. If your big bag gets checked and lost, then you've got your poster with you. Disaster averted.
