Without #immigration, America's prosperity would be under significant pressure. Our markets are shrinking, and other nations are ever more competitive in #science and #technology. Manufacturing has been all but ceded to other countries (with the remarkable and welcome exception of Biden's 2022 CHIPS and Science Act), putting our entire economy at risk.

Immigrants are great neighbors and, given the opportunity, great Americans. Most demonstrated creativity, persistence, and amazing mental toughness simply making it to our shores. Aren't those qualities worth cultivating?

Anti-immigrants, though, are #privileged, mean-spirited, and as often as not, #racist. They believe that they're owed something, not for their own efforts, but simply by virtue of the accident of their birth on US soil. They blame immigrants (and minorities, and Jews, and. . .) for problems they themselves created.

Forget #ordoamoris. The best way to love America is to love #immigrants. 2/2
