steps using #friction, a 2d animation package and #inkscape.
The bike was restructured from an #openclipart #graphic.

1) use inkscape to separated the wheels from the frame, putting each is a .svg file by themselves.
2) linked each file into friction; scale and position as needed.
3) parented the wheels to the frame
4) animated the rotate attritube with an equation
5) add path followPath to the frame.

simple after the first 3 days:-)

more learning ahead

Even when development started in the 70s, it took #Apple #computers twice as long as expected not only because they had to get rid of #Jobs first. Still ahead of it's time #LISA was launched 1983 with 1Mb RAM for almost U$D 10K. The most interesting documentary about #IT you'll find here...

Instead of #Adobe #Illustrator #Ai and #PostScript #PS, our highly detailed #vector #illustration of #AppleLisa #GUI #OS #retrocomputer was created in #svg #vectorgraphics #technology with #Inkscape. #Download & #donate here...

#blender friends - what's the best way to add the equivalent of a #blend #mode (e.g. multiply) to individual objects in blender and have them render accurately (as shown in a video with the #inkscape program)?

Is this not possible? Am I just thinking about this incorrectly? Any leads appreciated as I figure I must be missing something fundamental somewhere.

Can someone make a real open source svg/vector #editor. Something like affinity design, but runs on all operating systems. OSX #Linux windows. That does not use #GTK because every GTK app is not suited for real work when you wanna get stuff done I’m sorry I need menus lists and dropdowns no hamburger trash plz.
#krita #gimp #inkscape #pinta #karbon none of these fill the void at least with vector editing, & having sensible key bindings. I would be more than happy to pay for the application.
