The Grape Hyacinth is looking good but I don't think much of the flowers are open. Saw Bombus Huntii inspecting it but she flew off.

We've got a couple of honey bees visiting our garden on the regular, they come and drink form the little creek we've built there and take some nectar home on their way back.

A little forest of grape hyacinth muscari.

A photo of a patch of grape hyacinth muscari taken just above the height of the blooms and looking up the slope they are on . There are 4-5 dozen flower clusters. The tips of the foliage is brown from a frost/freeze a few weeks ago. Behind them is granite bedrock and grasses. The foreground is out of focus.

It's grape hyacinth (Muscari armeniacum) time.
I've been spreading seeds and bulbs everywhere. Fingers crossed, few years later, the whole garden will be blue/purple.

Of course, as it is in the Netherlands, there could be no shortage of flowers, tulips are yet to come. Let's start with Muscaris (grape hyacinths), which I found in the most beautiful spring garden I have ever seen. Flowers and Helios lenses make fantastic combinations, look at this bokeh!
