@Edent It looks like #FileZilla is available in the repositories of all major distributions. Why are you bothering with Flatpak? The bloat of Flatpaks (or any containerized package) can be quite extreme, so that would be my last resort.
#Fedora is now only one release behind upstream, which is understandable given that FileZilla 3.69 was just released a few days ago.
Ich traue mich ja fast nicht zu fragen, aber hat jemand eine Empfehlung für einen Storage Browser/eine File Transfer Applikation unter #Linux Ich habe unter #MacOS immer Cyberduck oder Transmit genutzt. Absolute minimal-Anforderungen sind: SFTP, FTP, WebDAV und ein Userinterface 
. #FileZilla ist keine Option.

Immer schön Hashtags verwenden, damit sie gut sichtbar sind und gefunden werden können. Zumal man ja Hashtags folgen kann (was durchaus praktiziert wird). Hilfreich wäre natürlich, zusätzlich in Englisch zu posten, weil die Sprache doch überwiegt.
Zu den bisherigen Suchen würde ich empfehlen: als Editor #geany plus Plugins, für FTP ebenfalls #Filezilla (der gar nicht so kompliziert ist ;-) und Fotobearbeitung ist nicht so meins, aber es gibt da einige Kandidaten. Neben GIMP (Krita ist eher für Grafiker) lohnt zum Einstieg vielleicht XNview. Dann wäre da noch Darktable, aber da hört es bei mir auch schon auf ;-) Klar habe hiervon einige eine steile Lernkurve, aber ich behaupte mal, dass ist bei Photoshop oder ähnlichem nicht anders ;-)

Ich lade von meinem Mint per Filezilla was hoch und... Mein Mint bootet nicht mehr 
#ISPconfig is starting to get on my nerves because the #letsencrypt certificates for #mail just don't want to work. Queries show that the domains are correctly integrated in the certificate, but email programs don't see them, only the certificate of the server itself, which of course leads to problems. The #FTP program #Filezilla also warns against unsecured data transfer because certificates don't match.
Maybe I should give #YunoHost another chance?
Allmählich geht mir #ISPconfig doch gehörig auf die Nerven, weil das mit den #letsencrypt Zertifikaten für #Mail einfach nicht funktionieren will. Abfragen zeigen, dass die Domains richtig im Zertifikat integriert sind, aber Mail-Programme bekommen diese nicht zu Gesicht, sondern immer nur das Zertifikat des Servers selber, was natürlich zu Problemen führt. Auch das #FTP-Programm #Filezilla warnt vor ungesicherter Datenübertragung, weil Zertifikate nicht zusammenpassen.
Vielleicht sollte ich #YunoHost doch noch eine Chance geben?
In the meantime, #Filezilla connects to the #webserver, but fails to read the directory. I've tried all the different options and have no idea what the problem could be. I'll probably sleep on it overnight.
Inzwischen verbindet sich #Filezilla mit dem #Webserver, scheitert aber daran das Verzeichnis einzulesen. Sämtliche Variationen habe ich durch und keine Ideen mehr, woran das liegen kann. Werde ich wohl mal eine Nacht drüber schlafen.
Why does #qbittorrent for Windows open a http link in the browser after you click "yes" when it notifies you of an update? Why doesn't it just open a magnet link, downloading the update as a torrent from within qbittorrent? That would be much more convenient IMHO. When there is a #Filezilla for Windows update and you click "yes", it just opens an FTP link within the running Filezilla instance, then closes Filezilla and runs the installer, qbittorrent should do it like that, only with a magnet link to a torrent, of course.
Looking for recommendations please of a FTP client for #Linux. I have typically used #WinSCP on Windows but now I need something for my Linux machine. I do like the side by side layout of local and remote directories. #FileZilla appears to be an option.

Weil es bei uns diskutiert wurde: Es gibt keine ShareMe App für Windows, aber funktioniert mit FTP-Tools wie #FileZilla (OpenSource) gut.
Ja, FTP ist auch als Boardmittel verfügbar, nutze aber bevorzugt aufgesetztes FTP-Tool
ShareMe: Aufstarten, Menupunkte anwählen, Option "PC Austausch"; Adresse wird generiert, diese beim FTP-Tool erfassen usw.

Ich starte aus #Keepass heraus direkt #Filezilla und brauche dann nicht mal die Passwörter einzugeben. Man kann aus Keepass heraus also sogar Anwendungen starten. Ich liebe das.

So far I have uploaded a test webiste. A Cpanel program (that is very good, apart from a horrible commercial at the base)
It does not really feel like my space at all. 
I will be sobbing and screaming into a cushion for a while.

Geht aber aktuell nicht mehr.
Wenn ich mich dort mit dem Admin anmelde, bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung "Permission denied".
