I couldn't enjoy the last #marchintosh because I couldn't fix the #powerbook 170 in time, so I wanted to retrieve my #MacintoshLC that was in storage at my parent's. I got it yesterday and drove it to my home in #tuscany on my 1985 #fiat #panda 4x4, so at least it was a period-correct ride 😂
Unfortunately the box was a little wet and I spotted some condense inside, so it goes to the terrace for a little sun bath...
No corrosion inside, fortunately, and I was nice and removed the battery years ago. I'm relieved!

Removing some parts from the 1976 Fiat Spider before it is sent to the scrapper on Friday.

❤️ this car, wanted to restore it and electrify it, but it is just too far gone and restoration these days is ridiculously expensive. Better for the brain and wallet to buy one of many used versions available around for under $10,000 if I want to do that one day.

But in the meantime this one can be recycled and we can keep some bits to keep the memory of fun times over the past 45 years in our hearts. 💕.

The cargo rack should make a nice towel rack for the bathroom. :)

(Picture of the car in the snow is from a few years ago when we got a big snowfall that destroyed the shelter for the car… truly the end of the end for it. It was either build a small greenhouse/garage for it to restore it, or not.)

The car sits on its grey mat in the yard beside the purple shed. There is snow all around.
A few years later, she looks a little dirtier, a view from the front with the yellow car cover partially resting over it.
The cargo rack is chrome with four horizontal cross pieces and two vertical. It is curved and the vertical pieces curve to the rear where they would screw into the car trunk. There is a small horizontal bar that shuts out for, the bottom, to act as a stopper to keep the luggage from sliding off the back of the car.

Die #USA sind nicht, sie waren es auch noch nie, Freunde eines #VereintenEuropas bzw. 'United States of Europe'. Nebenbei ist die USA seit Jahrzehnten komplett pleite, werden also nur noch über ihr #FIAT-Geld und #Zockerbuden bzw. #Börsen am Laufen gehalten.

Dies funktioniert aber seit Anbeginn der USA auch nicht ohne Gewalt. Kein Land der Welt hat so viele #völkerrechtswidrige Kriege geführt wie diese angebliche und älteste #Demokratie. Ein Land wo man nur zwischen #Pest und #Cholera wählen kann. Nach den Wahlen bestimmen natürlich wieder Mehrheitsbeschlüsse beider Parteien.

Beim #Brexit, der u.a. auch über die USA mitfinanziert wurde, wurde dies doch wohl klar genug. Die USA sind ein Land der #Machos und Egoisten immer schon gewesen, alle andere werden dort klein gehalten und unterdrückt. (Ja, es gibt auch Gute dort)
