Frage als Nicht-Mediziner an die MedBubble: Gibt es zur Behandlung von #CRPS eine Einheits-Vorgehensweise oder eigenständige europäische/deutsche „Schulen“? An meinem besten, extrem leidenden US-Freund wird seit Jahren von US-Ärzten herumgedoktert. „Zweite Meinung“ wäre hilfreich. Bin dankbar für alle Links zu europäischen Communities/Einrichtungen, sofern es solche gibt.

I'm at my mom's, and it saddens me to see her in much pain from #CIRVA / #CRPS, a chronic condition where the whole arm is getting extremely painful, for years after vaccination. For her it started immediately after getting the flu vaccine and later the covid one on the same arm (her other arm had no problem). I feel guilty that I was pushing her to get the covid vaccine back then. Her condition is very rare, but it does happen occasionally.
I watched that Netflix program about that little girl Maya with #CRPS this morning. She got it from a random respiratory infection.
Did you guys know that the child protection services department in Florida is privatized??
And that wasn’t the only problem, this family had to sue Johns Hopkins for accusing the mother of Munchhausen by proxy.
But you guys, Florida took this girl from her family because she had chronic pain and the doctors accused the child of lying. Even Johns Hopkins was claiming that she wouldn’t be having problems after a respiratory infection.
If you live in Florida and your child has long Covid BE CAREFUL.
Bless this family for putting themselves through even more trauma and suing the people who did this. Hopefully Johns Hopkins and Florida has learned its lesson and they don’t do this to anyone else.

gibt es hier in den Weiten des „Universums“ Menschen die ebenfalls an CRPS/Morbus Sudeck erkrankt sind?
Ich selbst bin seit 7 Jahren erkrankt, Typ II, rechte Hand, mittlerweile bis zum Ellenbogen und seit Oktober 2022 linke Hand.
Über einen Austausch/eure Erfahrungen würde ich mich freuen.

Schon den 2. Tag, das die Feinmotorik „spinnt „. Das gefällt mir nicht, schreiben fällt schwer und malen funktioniert auch nur so semi. Mal schauen wie es morgen ist.

Hi, wit are Fiadh², a somewhat variable #plural system currently with ~~9~~ 10 modes of self prominent enough to have names. Usually only 1 is "in valence" directly interfacing with the outside world, plus anywhere from 0-8 (usually 1-3) simultaneously conscious internally. All of unc are #trans, most of unc are #nonbinary, it's complicated with both individual and gestalt senses of gender. Made this account months ago but only became active on here as part of the #TwitterMigration.
Wit have a background in #astronomy, but #disability and #ChronicIllness finally took unc out of commission for good almost a decade ago. Primarily #ChronicPain, specifically #CRPS, plus #CPTSD and a whole bunch of other things. #Dyslexia and #aphasia are probably relevant to uncer posting. Wit are also mad, as in "madwoman" not as in "angry," and while it's not all kittens and rainbows it's not something wit are ashamed of. #MadPride saves lives.
Finally, wit are a proud #cyborg, and have been fused with electronic wetware for longer than wit weren't. This has contributed to uncer commitment to #posthumanism and #xenofeminism that can be summed up in a simple slogan: self-define, self-design, self-determine. Being unprofitable for capitalism to exploit and indefinitely in medical isolation from the pandemic, uncer focus these days is on elucidating those ideas and making at attempt at expressing them.

¹ Wit/unc/uncer were Old English first person pronouns for dual number, like "both" or "pair." That number case was mostly lost from Modern English, so wit have repurposed them as system pronouns in between one singular self and an unlimited "we."
² It's an overly complicated plural pun, Fiadh/Fianna/[self] na Fianna.
