Cops used tower dumps to track not only suspect’s phone but also #vehicle. Detectives asked Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T to send information on all connecting devices to six relevant towers. They saw a Verizon BlueLink onboard Wi-Fi system had pinged two of the towers. According to a complaint against the eventual suspect investigators believe the BlueLink was inside his Hyundai.

Every cop must keep their firearms unloaded and stored in a lock box in the trunk. Every cop convicted of violations of law must forfeit their pensions. Every cop cannot be trusted, ever.
Arresting officers realize they can lie to secure confessions. Senior officers know they can exaggerate to lobby for bigger budgets. For some, a form of “noble cause corruption” is at play—a sense that any means will justify the ends of securing social order and making sure the bad guys go to jail.

@Powerfromspace1 This is how low level #cops, #sheriffs, #troopers, #ice and all manner of #lawenforcement feel empowered to do as they feel. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if some #ice gopher did this as retaliation for being rejected by a #Canadian he hit on.

@rbreich It won't just be #MAGAmoron regime. Some of us will be arrested, jailed and, possibly, "disappeared" simply bc local #cops don't like us. I've always been careful of my surroundings after I publicly schooled and embarrassed local cops about #1A rights.
