Some more sketches. Part from.the 100 Character Design Challenge.
This time i was taking Harley as a reference to test new designs.
It seems you need to choose bewtween chest and arms to be the high detailed areas, in order to avoid saturating the design with too much visual noise.

Last year I made an illustration for Jean-Philippe Marceau's book published by Symbolic World Press depicting coming from zombie state back to life.

It was great! I’m so open to commissions like this!

I remember sketching countless zombie figures before I even started to sketch for it. Good times.

Posting here after 300 years lol :ablobcolorshift: Have an illustration of my D&D character named Phinia, she's a Wizard and currently in distress. Last session she asked Death herself about her family's fates, and let me tell you - big mistake! Don't do that :P

A sinister-looking crow is speaking into her ear. Phinia's eyes grow wide. In front of her are visions of her uncle, mother, and brother. Her uncle looks calm, but is half submerged in water. Her mother looks up in stupor as a flame engulfs her. Phinia's brother is turning around, his eye caught in the reflection of a sword. The background is dark. A pattern of stars and mouth-like circles runs across the canvas. Phinia has a red string tied around her neck, and it's held taut.
