A delight to listen to my kid’s orchestra rehearse in a church designed by Patrick Keeley in 1852; St Mary’s in Fall River.

Keeley designed 700 buildings (most of which were churches), which is about 100 more than Frank Lloyd Wright.

Keeley’s original design accommodated 1200 people, reflecting the size of Fall River’s mill worker population. The galleries were removed in 1951 but can be seen in the postcard.

Thumbs up to the acoustics!

The final snap from St Andrew-by-the-wardrobe is from the side balcony and designed as a test for my diy 360 degree nodal panorama mount. The columns were very close to the camera and a hand held panorama would never work. I'm not sure getting 180 degrees in makes for a good snap but I was impressed it worked at all.

I used the DIY 360 degree panorama mount on a tripod to hold an #Olympus EM1iii with a Laowa 7.5mm F2.

St-Mary-le-Bow church on Cheapside in the City is another Christopher Wren church, built after the Great Fire of London destroyed the earlier building. And again this is a 1960s rebuild after the Luftwaffe destroyed much of Wren's work.

Its bells feature in Oranges and Lemons, called Dick Whittington back to London and grant anyone born within their range Cockney status.

This is a 180 degree #vertorama of St Andrew-by-the-Wardrobe - a #ChristopherWren church in the city. It's so-called because its first structure was by the Royal Wardrobe - where in 1361 Edward III moved his store for clothes and armour.

That burned down in the Great Fire, Christopher #Wren built the replacement. That was bombed, but restored and reopened in 1961.
