I've just done my second monitor #calibration of my MacBookPro with the #SpyderXPro. It has at least got rid of the strange pink-apricot tones on some areas, like the box I'm typing in now. Last time there was no sunshine on my screen, but it was beside the window. This time I turned the screen so no window light at all fell directly on it. Looks better!

Flat calibration frames are used in astrophotography to correct optical "defects" in the imaging train like vignetting and dust on the filters or camera sensor.

Multiple images of a uniform light source are taken and combined (averaged) into a master flat frame. Then each frame taken from the target is divided by the normalized intensity of the master flat frame on a pixel per pixel basis. This way, areas that are darker on the master flat frame, like corners when vignetting is present, are made brighter in the calibrated frames and vice-versa.

@nolen @derSammler I spent two hours (after finding an instruction vid) adjusting the resistor screw in the middle of the drive's ribbon cable, checking the resistance and aiming for about 0.77, and could not get consistent operation. It works here briefly, but it was not consistent.

I see ODEs require their own surface mount pin pulling, etc. and I'd rather not go in for that.

Is there no place that sells a pre-adjusted, proper replacement drive for this thing? I'd rather keep this, my orig PSX which I modded myself than buying another unit, hoping its drive lasts a while. Oy.

Oktava MK-012-01 hypercardiod microphones, matched pair, calibration protocols below - two coordinate systems, each for one mic, measurements from 20Hz to 20KHz in 0° (top), 90° (center) and 180° (bottom) phases.

How can i scan this and have values read into a text file, like
Freq Vol
20 0,00
23 0,04
...
20000 -12,2

? Is there a software for this type of thing?

Note: for actual speaker calibration I'll use omnis, of course.
