In 1974, Panther followed up on yesterday’s J.72 roadster with this, the spectacularly extravagant De Ville limousine. Like the J.72, the De Ville combined a retro appearance with modern Jaguar mechanical parts. In this case, the apparent inspiration for the design was the Bugatti Royale. The completionist in me will probably eventually get the #Lego #Bugatti and #McLaren too.

I draw the line at the #Porsche though (the 42056 one), it's been the first (??) in the line of those sports cars, went off sale in 2018, and the asking price now is ridiculous.

Not an everyday sight even in these parts. I didn't notice the armed guard but I imagine they are pretty discreet :)
