I'm glad #GarudaLinux / #ArchLinux is setup with automatic snapshots... first a kernel update made my machine not boot, then this last update broke my wifi. Keep having to restore from a snapshot for about a week, update again, then it's good for a while.

Such is the trade-off for being on the bleeding edge I guess.

" We have people all over the world and so we are not subject to any particular legal jurisdiction. "
Well, that's not how the justice system pretty much works, anywhere. If push comes to shove, legally, somebody has to be responsible somewhere. You can't claim you are a stateless and lawless organization.
" Well, we started in Random 1 and now most of our developers are now in Randon 2, but our legal entity and representation is in Random 3.
Random 3 is where your jurisdiction is, and in this case, that's New York, USA.

Arch Linux is a wonderful open source operating system. I like it. Many people like it. But my list is to find digital services that are outside US jurisdiction. For that one criteria, you don't qualify.

I forget who the Arch Linux expert out there is, but I can't get wireguard to resolve DNS at all. And my laptop has the exact same setup, and it works fine. I have tried everything I can think of or look up. If anybody out there can help me shed some light on this, I'm using a ProtonVPN config. Thanks! And a boost would be welcome if you're amenable... ;>)

For development on my laptop I mostly use Chimera Linux in WSL. Sometimes I need a more… conventional distro. For that I've been using Debian, and not my preferred Arch Linux. Arch is officially x86_64 only, so I originally wrote it off on this Snapdragon X machine.

Tonight I remembered Arch Linux ARM exists, and they do have generic aarch64 root file systems for download. I did a `wsl --import` and it's working well. Not sure why I didn't think of this earlier.

Well, I did a crazy thing this morning and over-hauled my main server (again). Very happy with it now. I was able to seamlessly connect the network to the various services, so I wasn't without music for very long. And I'm adding a BIND server. What was great is that the Apache and Docker integration for my blog went without a hitch. Since I'm using a different distro than last time, some implementation details are always different...
