Mikaok specifically on my wife's PC, <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/LumaIsland" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#LumaIsland</a> had insanely bad audio crackling issue - and I learned that while people often praise <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Valve" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Valve</a>'s <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Proton" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Proton</a> and the state of <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Linux" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Linux</a> gaming in general, audio crackling is a common issue to the point that some consider it a feature lol. I have encountered such issues on my PC, but quite rarely (only when under extreme loads, mostly bcos I rarely shut down my PC), presumably bcos my PC is considerably beefier. Pretty ironic that Linux is often touted as perfect for older hardware, and while that is still true, it's pretty funny that I suppose my wife's PC is considered "wimpy" for Linux (gaming) standards - namely, an <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/AMD" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#AMD</a> Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/NVIDIA" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#NVIDIA</a> GTX 1650 Super GPU, and 32GB of DDR4 3600MHz CL18 RAM. Reverting back to this issue, seeing that it's very reproducible on her PC to launch the game and immediately getting audio crackles on the launch screen, I managed to fix the crackling by creating the following config file: <pre><code># ~/.config/pipewire/pipewire-pulse.conf.d/20-pulse-properties.conf pulse.properties = { pulse.min.quantum = 512/48000 }</code></pre> and restarting the relevant services: <pre><code>systemctl --user restart pipewire.service pipewire-pulse.service wireplumber.service</code></pre>

SpitfireI really, REALLY wish <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/valve" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#valve</a> would implement a kind of up- and downvote feature to their <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/steam" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#steam</a> comment system because 🤡 awards just won't cut it anymore.

Je passe régulièrement dans d'autres ateliers vélo de Stras' pour en récupérer, mais ça ne suffit pas non plus 😅Du coup je lance un peu un sos d'une upcycleuse en détresse : - si vous êtes de Strasbourg ou alentours, n'hésitez pas à me découper et garder vos vieilles valves Presta filetées de + de 4cm, je me ferai une joie de les recuperer dès que vous en aurez genre au moins 10 :3 - si vous n'êtes pas du coin mais que vous pouvez en récupérer pas mal, je serais ravie de vous payer l'affranchissement pour un envoi si vous êtes d'accord 🙄Alors oui, j'entends vos questions : mais qu'est-ce que j'en fais ? 😁 Essentiellement des fidget toys à visser et dévisser à l'infini (et au-delà) ==> voir photos en 1er commentaire Mais également des porte-clés pour toujours avoir son adaptateur de valve sur soi ! ==> voir photos en 2ème commentaireEt sinon, petite info importante pour celleux qui ne l'auraient pas vu passer : si vous êtes un atelier ou magasin de vélos, Schwalbe vous envoie gratuitement des bons d'envoi pour vos colis de vieilles chambres à air. Ils les recyclent 😍 (et qu'importe la marque des chambres à air, ils prennent tout). + d'infos en tapant "Schwalbe recyclage" sur votre moteur de recherche préféré !
