yes, it isn't consistent, at least for me. I don't see it on the below account for example. I wish they would implement a more formal process and icon like #threads has.

@pcottle @jessel can someone look into why I can't login to my threads or instagram account?
Threads tells me my account has suspicious activity and to login to Instagram. However, I've logged into Instagram from several different devices and they all give me a completely black screen when logging in. I can't even get to the Account Center.

Worst of all, is that Meta makes it notoriously hard to contact a real human being. It's basically impossible if you can't even login to a damn meta account!
So annoyed.
Can't login to my threads cause it says there was suspicious activity and I need to login to my Instagram.
I login to my Instagram and immediately get a black screen. On every device!!!
What the absolute fuck.
I can't even get into the account settings cause there's nothing! Just a black damn page!
So I guess I just have a meta account that I can never use again?!?
Maybe it's your feed, maybe it'll just take time, but Bluesky & Mastodon aren't a monoliths. Funny is everywhere. There are tons of "lolz" on both. Twitter had 15 years, so maybe just take your time, find your folks, and chill out @wired.com
