If you watched the Wire (if you haven't you should go watch it) this is a "dope on the table" type of play the Trump administration is doing. Designed to appease voters more so than be effective policing.
YES many people will be affected, BUT 10x - 100x more people will see these flashy news conferences, big raids and will get scared.
No, these raids are like lightening. Big scary, flashy but not likely to strike you in particular.
ICE can at best arrest 0.2% of migrants per year!

So I watched the TV show #TheWire recently and found it really good, very authentic and realistic but also enjoyable to watch. The dialogues are 
! Now I'm watching a more recent show and it seems so predictable, at least by contrast ("Justified " - do not recommend)
Any recommendations for something as "well done" as The Wire?
Other shows like that: Deadwood? Suits or Mad Men are pretty close, but they really don't have the same authenticity.
