Carl Sagan is one of those scientists I greatly admired as a child. I watched his series Cosmos on tv and I even bought the book, which was also translated into Dutch, my mother tongue. Sagan is definitely one of those scientists who helped fuel my later interest in science. #StandUpForScience

Rally with speakers, donate mutual aid, learn skills, and play games. Organized by 50501PGH and StandUpForScience. Donations go to the Our Streets Collective & the DSA/Community Forge Free Pantry. We will also have QR codes set up to direct donations to the Greater Pittsburgh Area Food Bank.
Suggested donations: Canned goods, nonperishable items, personal care items (tylenol, cold & flu, bandaids, masks, covid tests, tampons/pads, toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant, diapers, wipes, formula, shampoo, body wash), tents, sleeping bags, and tarps.
