Vor gut vier Wochen habe ich in den Mediathekperlen die Rubrik „Kurzperlen“ erfunden. Und das hat viel besser funktioniert, als ich eigentlich je hätte erwarten können…

In der Tat, haben die kleinen Rants meinerseits, die Presseschnippsel und sonstigen bunten Fundstücke so viel höhere Klickraten im Blog, als der eigentliche Inhalt an dem (oft) mein Herz sehr viel mehr hängt. Der ist daneben fast zu kurz gekommen. Und weil auch nicht alle Leser:innen die Vermischung der Programme gleichermaßen schätzen, wurde es Zeit für eine Trennung.

Ya know, one of the things that makes me crazy is how hard it is to get pain management in this country. Benzos they hand out like candy, but ask for a 5mg hydrocodone scrip and suddenly you’re treated like a junkie. In the past, when xrayed I get questions like “what the hell happened?” And I say “being a young female gymnast in the 1970s”. This time, I just loaded up this clip and said “I did this from 6 until college, there is almost no bone in my body I have not broken, I have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, can I just have some long term pain management please?”
The answer was still no. Ima have to put together a clip showing floor, bars and beam. I think young doctors have no idea how death defying GenX was.

#obsessivecompulsivedisorder is the gift that keeps on giving, isn't it?

I started posting the videos on #scoopz as an experiment, and a hobby to put my thoughts somewhere as a creative #vlog.

Now I feel the need to post at least 2 rants a day, out of fear of losing my channel momentum, and the intrusive thoughts creep in if I attempt a break.

It's still fun, but this content creator shit is stressful now that I am about 100 followers from making ad revenue.

(The new) Marathon looks like the desires of boardroom investors going off what there metrics say is “trending” being developed by a desperate developer. And with needing to be bought by Sony I certainly would say Bungie certainly seems desperate. Can’t say it’s getting much excitement from me ..

At least another Sony game makes its way to Xbox as well!

On the outside, I am making it to meetings, I am writing code and processing security reviews and making recommendations. I am getting groceries and getting the kid to skating lessons.

On the inside I am screaming, I am plotting and scheming. I am building better privacy and making plans to help protect my family. Then I am screaming some more.

Fundamentally law and order has not kept up with technology, allowing for parts of this to fall in place. The rest of this has been cruelty as distraction/deterrent/the point.

Even saying this makes me feel like I could be a target.

We are losing #knowledge, at an alarming rate.

You know those #postapocalyptic stories where machines are chugging along doing things, but the humans have no idea how they work anymore? Well, yeah, that'll be us.

Real World Example: When I ask the internet 'How can I do X on Linux/Windows?' what I DON'T want is endless 'Install tool/app/distro which does it for you' answers.

It's like no-one actually writes down the basic steps of anything anymore. We're doomed.

That's what I learned growing up in the church...sort of. I was in the Deep South during the 60s & 70s, so at least I learned the truth at home, but I digress. All people just want to live their lives, but Trans people, I guess, aren't people in the small minds of bigots. I will NOT stay silent when so-called Christians or anyone denigrates and says negative and unkind things about the Trans community. I just figured out I live in #compton now.

It's ghetto as hell, and you might think that's awful.

However I am insane, and feel right at home, and it kinda reminds me of the neighborhood my high school sweet heart lived in, and I spent a lot of time.

Holy crap. I didn't know Ubisoft has a Chinese division but I don't think they'll get some good employees. Next step is probably to rename all jobs to "Junior employee" and "Senior employee" with the "Junior" requiring "experience" and the senior "strong experience".

I am leaving the hospital today finally.

Going to a new place is always scary for me though. I am going to a different, but similar facility to where I was staying before.

Hopefully it isn't a total mess, but I don't think anything could be worse than Soul Housing, which put me in the hospital.

Then I have a reference for more permanent housing later, just need to call even if it is awful.

My #health is MUCH better, that will be my shield no matter what happens.
