Der Konstrukteur hat mal am Rande von Vorbildern der englischen Westküste geschrieben. Der Ursprung der Cornish Crabber, denen das <a href="https://norden.social/tags/Pocketship" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Pocketship</span></a> etwas ähnelt, liegt wohl in Cornwall. Aufgrund der Nähe zu Wales liegt es nahe, dass eine bestimmte Bootsform sich in einer Region bewährt hat.</p>
