dear #DuckDuckGo or other search engine: I want a little button next to every #search result that lets me exclude it from all search results for me, personally, forever. With an option to block the entire domain.

I'm definitely looking at #pinterest but there's just a lot of #AI slop out there. Tons of AI-generated websites. Even without the AI search "helper" things, I get a lot of shit that is just really low quality.

I don't think I see this witih DDG (there is a "give feedback" button with unclear effects on my personal search experience) and I'm not familiar with many other search engines now (except google and no). But if there's something out there that already has this functionality, I'll be happy to check it out and happy for the referral.

Whelp I just looked at #Pinterest for the first time in ages and it is absolutely fucked. AI-generated shite everywhere. I now have a headache.
I'm glad I kept all my reference books from before the internet became an easily available research resource. Books are going to replace the internet again for specialist research like costume design etc. Those fields are dead as far as using the internet for research is concerned. We've just shat in the well.

Oh, apparently I had a #Pinterest account.

I received an email about their updated Terms of service and Privacy policy.

Of course, because they want to train their #GenerativeAI models on your data.

I also noticed, when checking my settings, that they had "kindly" turned on permission to use my data because, of course, it's opt-out.

So, I just "kindly" deleted my entire account. (It was never really used anyway.)
