Is anybody using #ntfy in the self hosted version? I'm using it with docker and #Caddy for TLS but ntfy-android doesn't support the certificate.
All other apps and browsers work fine with the web page of ntfy.

Hey people, has anyone gotten #ntfy to work with Moshidon? Has anyone gotten any custom server up and running and working for any Moshidon notifications?

So 12 hours with #IodeOS maybe a bit early for feedback. But I'm thrilled. Everything is running. Unlike #eOS I have Android 15 and #seedvault is running. I had to set up a #ntfy server (hello #uberspace) so #moshidon (#fdroid) pushes, but that's not bad.
I know there are even freer #androids out there, but for me it's a mix of privacy, simplicity and a whole lot of good feeling.
Also important: it has to run on the #fairphone5, because I specifically bought it for sustainability.

So #ntfy works. Just installed it at uberspace. So I understand it correct. My webbackend is public in the web, but the topic/channels are secure?

It is an UnifiedPush distributor using Mozilla's push server. It is very easy to use.

Tech ppl! My #Moshidon push notifications have stopped working (Android 13). I run #Megalodon on another phone, push Nots work fine. I have 2 #Mastodon accts in both apps.

2ndary issue: my other acct (on lor.sh) has a permanent mark as read icon in the app notifications panel which prevents the number of new Nots showing on the icon in the bottom menu. This is in both apps (different phones).

Both issues began to happen after I installed #ntfy to test #Fedilab Nots. I have uninstalled both.

Das war ein hartes Stück Arbeit.
Auf der VM lief jetzt ca. 15 Jhare lang ein #PRTG Server.

Ersetzt wurde der jetzt letztlich durch 4 #OpenSource Tools:
#Beszel - klassisches System Monitoring
#UptimeKuma - Monitoring von HTTP/S Auftritten
#Prometheus (bzw. #VictoriaMetrics) und #Grafana für Metriken, Spezialfälle und Daten, die ich Jahre oder Jahrzehnte sammeln will.

Und alle drei Systeme nutzen #ntfy für Notifications - keine E-Mails.

#UnifiedPush: Bei mir benötigt #NextPush weniger Akku als #ntfy. Bei euch ebenfalls oder was ist eure Erfahrung?
