Am 27.02.2022 stellte Adam Nimoy, der Sohn von Leonard Nimoy aka Spock folgenden Tweet bei Twitter (damals noch nicht X und ohne Musk inside) ein.

Leider findet man in der Science Fiction auch heute noch Rassismus, Nationalismus, Fremdenhass und Speziesismus etc. Dabei bin zumindest ich der Überzeugung, dass Science Fiction unseren Blick über das engstirnigen Denken unserer aktuellen Zeit hinaus erweitern sollte.

Mr Shatner pretended to have an important business date and was on his way by plane . Shatner wrote his one and only book “ Spock an I” one year later. Spoiler : there was no real or long friendship between the 2 iconic actors. Takei (Zulu) even hated and deprecated Shatner in public loudly.

Heute vor 10 Jahren starb #LeonardNimoy an der Raucherkrankheit #COPD.

Vor seinem Tod warnte er: "Raucher, bitte versteht. Wenn ihr aufhört, nachdem ein Lungenschaden diagnostiziert wurde, ist es zu spät. Opa sagt, lernt von mir."

Jeder Raucher bekommt COPD. Es beginnt mit Abhusten. Nur der Rauchstopp kann die Krankheit verlangsamen oder stoppen. Lungenschäden bleiben.

Raucher können den Rauchstopp durchs #Dampfen schaffen, wenn es noch nicht zu spät ist.

Yesterday was World Logic Day, so it's only logical I'd post this old 3D Spock I made back in 2020. It's supposed to resemble Adventure Time's style, but in 3D. It was one of my first experiments in Blender (2.8), as I was used to working with Autodesk's 3ds Max up until 2020. After that year I completely switched to Blender and don't miss Max one bit.
