The free court always met at a specific location. Under the chairmanship of the free earl, the aldermen administered justice in the presence of all the freemen. The court dealt with murder, theft, arson, fornication, treason and heresy, among other things. Mein Geschichtsunterricht - in der Erinnerung - fing (für den heutigen deutschsprachigen Raum) mit den "alten Germanen" an (Neandertaler) und eigentlich beginnt die Geschichte mit der Jahreszählung 0 mit "Christi Geburt". Übrigens, sehr clever von den Römern.Die Deutsche Geschichte tut sich offensichtlich sehr schwer mit seiner eigentlichen indigenen Vergangenheit.Bevor jetzt Grabungen die Kelten ins Spiel der Deutschen Geschichte kamen, gab es nur Römer, dovor irgendwie niemand.
