PSA - I will be defederating from fosstodon.org after 24 hours of this post. And no, this isn't the first time they created a dangerous situation for marginalized groups of all kind, but this the proverbial last straw!

I will reconsider this position if they remove the fascist mod and publicly apologize for the mistake they made with supporting fascists.

I suggest other admins to consider their own actions to protect their users.

Everything showed here in this thread is actually distressing and should ring a bell on your end. The fact that it’s not is… weird, to say the least.

I expect better from Fosstodon. Can we have a further and more thoughtful talk about how this goes against your own code of conduct (which is good btw, but only if you’re actually going to believe it and enforce it)? Or a proper statement about the cases shown here? Anything more than a few dismissive lines would show that you do care.

I’d hate to consider Fosstodon as a bully instance that’d need to be #fediblock ‘d, and I certainly want to engage in a proper discussion before it comes to that.

Repeating the call for a fediblock on transphobic and homophobic server arslansah.com.tr.

It's a server operated and used by people who were previously banned from mastodon.social for transphobia. They're hosting transphobes, homophobes, and Turkish fascists (possibly related to the Grey Wolves). They have crazy remarks around femicides and queer murders, and call people the f-word (Turkish word "ibne") regularly. There's now more accounts than the two I linked in my original toot.

I can translate some of the offending toots from Turkish to English. Here's some proof:

It's the same people though. "modern audience" "current thing" types.

I want anything that upsets them. Anything that makes them hurt like I do is by definition a good thing.

I want to cause as much damage to them as possible without breaking a single law. That's what I told the feds the last time they were here: When I fuck with people, I make sure they can't puss out by crying to the state. They need to come face me directly, or deal with it.

I would also point out that these are the same people who parade me around #fediblock every few months and harass any instance owner who gives me an account. They are rotten, evil people and if I can make them mad *and* own a house, then I'm going to do that.
