Ich könnte das was ich mache, niemals machen, wenn ich keinen Spaß daran hätte. (Natürlich gibt es Frust Tage)
Wer mit einem morgentlichen Kropf in die Firma geht, sollte Kündigen. Ob es woanders allerdings besser ist ?

Selten hat mich, auch Millennial, ein Artikel so dermaßen mitgenommen wie dieser.
Dass sich die Situation seit 2019 sogar noch verschärft hat, ist dort auch noch angedeutet worden.

I may have mentioned this before, but I'm not much into racing games. There are some exceptions though...
While browsing my PSP games earlier, I stumbled upon Burnout - Dominator. I played maybe half an hour, but it's just as fun as I remember. I loved the #Burnout games on the PS2 and PSP. 
People seem to really like Burnout Paradise, but I never managed to put more than a few minutes into it. I found the open world an absolute chore to navigate. I somehow prefer to select my events from a menu.

Leider hat mir diese völlig unnötige Nummer das Osterwochenende so dermaßen versaut.
Habe mich wieder wie im letzten Jahr gefühlt, mit massiven Schlafstörungen, Weinkrämpfen und völlige Antriebslosigkeit dazu. Das hat mich Monate zurückgeworfen, habe ich das Gefühl.

Also, die Krankenkasse wusste gar nicht, was ich von denen wollte. Natürlich muss ich einen Feiertag nicht nacharbeiten, insbesondere nicht, wenn ich da Therapie oder Arztbesuche habe. Ich bin ja eh noch krank geschrieben und bezahlt werde ich auch nicht vom Arbeitgeber.
Die Gewerkschaft hat dem nur zugestimmt. Wenn die betriebliche Notwendigkeit nicht gegeben ist und es keinen Dienstplan für mich gibt, muss ich nicht. Erst recht nicht bei einem gesetzlichen Feiertag. #burnout #burnoutrecovery

@lemeteore Usually, open-source maintainers are good developers. They are, however, not good at and probably not interested in community cat herding. I am not surprised, to see some of them looking for mitigations to being overwhelmed.
Are there people out there loving the interaction and are able to distill community chatter in something a developer can act upon? If so, step up and offer your services to an open-source project out there.
And a call to maintainers. It is OK to not like or be good at community management. Put the word out and look out for people who can help you in that regard.

I'm just going to have to call tomorrow & Tuesday my weekend. Just me, my chocolate eggs & I… well, okay probably some Mastodon too.
I just listened to this interview on Clearer Thinking with Tee Barnett on setting goals, life changes, causes of burnout, and when a coach can (not) help. I found so much of it very recognizable and useful to think about. Very much recommended giving it a listen.

Sie wird 80 und hat uns Kinder für das verlängerte Wochenende (Donnerstag bis Sonntag) nach Holland eingeladen. Also gehe ich Freitag nicht arbeiten, weil ich ja in Holland bin und die Vereinbarung Montag bis Donnerstag ist. Logisch?

Burnout gaat niet over cq komt terug als de omstandigheden die de #burnout veroorzaken niet veranderen. Tegen je geweten handelen om je partijgenoten niet werkloos te maken helpt ook niet.
